White PVC cladding
from sheet
to finished wall.

A white sheet may look simple, but the result depends on the choices behind it. Learn what to consider when selecting PVC wall cladding, planning your layout and finishing the edges.

01 UNDERSTAND THE MATERIAL

More than a
white surface.

White PVC cladding creates a smooth wall surface that is straightforward to wipe down. Its consistent colour helps large areas feel bright and orderly, while sheets can be cut to work around openings, corners and room features.

It is used in spaces where the finish needs to look good while standing up to regular use and cleaning. Kitchens, washrooms, food preparation areas and other working rooms may each call for a different sheet thickness or finishing approach.

MAKING THE FIRST CHOICE

Start with what
the wall needs.

Rather than choosing a thickness by appearance alone, consider the condition of the wall and what will happen around it.

01 / SURFACE

Look beneath
the sheet

Check that the existing surface is suitable for the proposed cladding system. Uneven areas, damaged finishes and changes in level can affect how the finished wall looks.

02 / USE

Think about
daily contact

A wall behind a quiet storage area faces different demands from one in a busy kitchen or corridor. Consider cleaning, knocks and movement through the space.

03 / LAYOUT

Plan the
whole wall

Measure the wall height and width, then account for doors, sockets and other openings. A planned sheet layout helps you place joins where they make sense.

A CLOSER LOOK

How much
sheet do you need?

White PVC sheets are available in several thicknesses. Thinner sheets can be easier to handle, while thicker sheets offer greater rigidity. The best choice depends on the wall, the setting and the specification for your project.

1.5mm
A lighter sheet

An option to consider where easier handling and value are priorities.

2.0mm
An all-round option

A useful starting point when balancing handling with a more substantial wall finish.

2.5mm
Greater rigidity

Worth considering for walls that need a firmer sheet and see more regular use.

3.0mm
A heavier-duty choice

A more rigid option for demanding areas, subject to the requirements of the installation.

THE DETAIL / 02

The finish is made
at the edges.

Before ordering sheets, think through how the wall will end. Inside and outside corners, exposed edges, changes between materials and the position of sheet joins all affect the finished appearance.

Plan compatible profiles, adhesives and sealing details as part of the same system. Check the supplier’s fitting guidance and the requirements of the space before installation.
